Sweet baby Jesus
The last semester and I am so, so lazy. I have two classes I really have to work for. No papers whatsoever to do. Except for my paper about the healing qualities of yoga...and that's kind of a joke.
I'm watchin Crown Prince Rudolf on Netflix. It's on location for sure, but this can't be historically accurate. And Robert Stadlober keeps on popping up as Prince Wilhelm of Germany. Ok...maybe it is a little bit. Sissi's being a bitch. She just called Rudolf's wife a camel. I love that bitch.
So it looks like Darrah and I will be in Sweden for a month. An entire month....frolicking in nature or being some wwoof farms work mule. So I'm a little worried. What if the farmers are awkward....and we have a super awkward two weeks. Or what if we can't even find the farm.
Still no word from the grad schools....not like they should have gotten back to me by now. But still. I'm terrified. Mainly of not getting into the Diplomatic Academy. I can't stress about this for the next 3 months. I'll explode or implode.
Holy crap! Klaus Maria Brandauer is playing Franz Josef! And of course they're playing Strauss.

FSU Crime Bulletin
First Crime Bulletin of 2011!
The first robbery didn't surprise me as much as the second did:
The second robbery took place on the main campus near the intersection of Chieftain Way and Spirit Way at about 1:50am on January 12, 2011. The victim was riding a motor scooter when he was rear-ended by a black pickup truck. When the victim approached the driver of the pickup truck to exchange information, the driver pulled a pistol and demanded the victim's belongings. The victim stated he had nothing of value and a passenger in the truck exited and took the victim's motor scooter. All the suspects fled. FSU Police intercepted the suspect on the motor scooter as he fled south if campus and arrested him.
Suspect information on the second robbery is limited. The vehicle is described as an older model black pickup truck. The suspects that escaped the scene are described as two black males, wearing black hooded sweatshirts and jeans. The driver who was described as the one with the pistol is described as wearing a black ski mask with the eyes cut out.

Fearless Freaks
The beginning of the end. My last semester at FSU. What will I do after this? Well I have a specific idea. But who knows if it will really happen, aka if I get accepted.
I'm taking Yoga, Contemporary Dance, Public Speaking, and Microeconomics my last semester. And I'm loving it. Even though this is only my second week so I can't really say I've really been stressed. But yoga is actually quite challenging and Contemporary Dance makes me sweat a bit.
This last weekend made me pretty thoughtful about life and the country I'm living in. The shooting in Arizona and on campus has really made me think. And I think it really is time for me to move somewhere else. I think moving to Austria is a good idea. Even if I can't take Kiel with me. It will be nice to live in a country that doesn't constantly sell paranoia to its people. I mean, sure my father is paranoid about me moving to Suedbahnhof....but I practically live in the GHETTO right now. The house down the street from me was robbed at gunpoint. Fucking guns everywhere. In practical children's and psychotics hands. How should I feel safe here? I can't even go for an evening stroll here. I lent my mace to someone because he was having dinner with this sketchy guy and I haven't heard back from him.
But then I listen to The Flaming Lips and I have to remember that I can't fix everything. I can't stop the fact that we are all running towards a completely insignificant death and that there will be absolutely nothing afterward. And I have to accept it. I have to live and realize that I probably will have no impact on the world. I won't be able to stop some psycho from shooting up a grocery store because he watched too much FOX or some college student from accidentally unloading his gun into a girl's chest because he forgot there was a bullet in the chamber.

Count de Monet
Last day of work until the new year tomorrow! Kind of excited, though I won't be doing much during this time. Going to see the boyfriend in Rockledge, but that's about as close as I'll get to that hell hole Palm Bay. This (unpaid) time-off period has made me think about money again. And it's not like I'm really in NEED of money right now, but I have to get some more if I want to go to Europe this summer. I'm pretty sure my father is broke due to an evil ex-stepmother. And Denny will be convincing my mother that I shouldn't go to Europe this summer but work. Sometimes you can tell that his grandfather was a Quaker. Jesus Christ. Why can't I just be young for once and have an adventure in Europe? BUT NO. I should stay in Tallahassee for the summer to work?! WTF. So...I will be working 20 hours a week next semester or for at least the next 2 months. And that all really goes to grad school. I think I'm going to have to find a second job. Pretty sure my savings are dilapidated. There's something pulling me to Sweden (and definitely Amsterdam!) HELP!

Future Shiny Things
I failed the GRE. Surprise. So I will have to get into Diplomatische Akademie Wien. Ehrm. Do I still want to go.....maybe? I kind of want to get a pug and move into the mountains in Colorado. God, I don't think I can handle being around the Europeans. Skinny, beautiful. And I'll be Kiel-less. I don't think they understand sarcasm either....or any kind of humor. Oh God, the Viennese.
FUUUUUUUU.
I'm still not sure if I get my job back. And I really can't imagine going into the food industry again...or customer service at all.
Oh...and I should be studying US Geography. But hey! What does another failed exam matter?
Sweden seems so far awaaaaay. And I don't really want to have two jobs right now. Even if its just for two weeks. I just want to lay in bed and cuddle.
Was that a gunshot? Where am I? OAKLAND?!
